This Privacy Policy explains how Veletta ("the app", "we") handles your information. The short version: your wardrobe lives on your device, we don't sell your data, and we only send what's needed to make the app's features work.
1. Information stored on your device
Your clothing photos, item details, outfits, and planner data are stored locally on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not maintain a copy of your wardrobe on our servers.
2. Information processed to provide features
- Item photos you add: when you add a clothing item, its photo is sent securely to our processing service to remove the background and automatically suggest tags (name, category, color, style). Images are processed transiently to produce the result and are not used to build advertising profiles.
- Outfit suggestions: to generate AI outfit ideas, a text description of your wardrobe items (names, categories, colors — not your photos) is sent to our server and processed by an AI provider to compose the suggestion.
- Subscriptions: purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate subscription status. We never see your payment details.
- Analytics: we collect anonymous usage events (e.g., app opened, item added, paywall viewed) tied to a random device identifier — not your name, email, or contacts — to understand and improve the app.
3. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not show third-party ads.
- We do not access your photo library beyond the photos you explicitly choose to add.
4. Service providers
We rely on a small set of processors to operate the app: Apple (purchases), RevenueCat (subscription validation), Google Firebase (app services and analytics storage), and AI image/text providers for background removal, auto-tagging, and outfit suggestions. Each provider receives only the data needed for its function.
5. Data retention & deletion
Wardrobe data stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app. Anonymous analytics events are retained for product analysis. To request deletion of data associated with your random device identifier, contact us at the address below.
6. Children
Veletta is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
